Yoga is a wonderful way to build strength, flexibility, and a deeper connection to yourself, the world around you, and the cosmos. From the Yoga siddhas of ancient India to modern Vinyasa practice, the practice has been used for centuries to both physical and spiritual ends.

When it comes to finding the right yoga studio, there are lots of factors to consider. Do you want a studio that’s close to home? Or do you want to go to a studio that’s more extreme? Do you want a studio with teachers, or do you want a class without a teacher? How important is cleanliness in your studio experience? And what about the accessibility of the studio itself?

Yoga can be an effective fitness regimen, and a great way to relieve stress—but you’ll need to find a yoga studio to suit your needs if you want to get the best results.

You all know this expression. There are more and more of them in Texas. And that includes yoga!

When it comes to Austin, Texas, one of the fastest growing cities in the country, all eyes are on yoga. In a city known for its live music scene and South by Southwest festival, yoga and music have a special relationship. To find out how the two are related, we reached out to several Austin yoga studios to see how they use music in their classes.
